Team Owners

Who got you into snowmobiling and when; what was their influence on your regard to the sport?
When I was a kid, my dad was involved in snowmobiling and racing. This made me want to race and get involved with snowmobiles. My dad is a small engine mechanic, so we always had snowmobiles, bikes, and other off road vehicles. This kept us involved in many different types of racing as we grew up.

My proudest achievement is when I took points championship at Bevra Racing in the 440 Super Stock class in 2015. Another moment was when my son, Dakota, placed in the top 10 at the Vintage World Championship at Eagle River in 2019. Also, when Dakota won the semipro points championship at MIRA in 2020. Dakota also took 5th in the FIII class at Eagle River World Championship in 2022. Finally, a proud moment was when my wife and I were able to start our own race team, Harris Racing, in 2021.

What is your career goal as owners?
As the team owner, the goal is for our team to win the Vintage World Championship at Eagle River, the FIII and pro enduro class at Eagle River World Championship, multi pro enduro races for MIRA, and pro enduro points championship.

What were the driving factors to start a race team?
After racing for other teams, we my wife and I decided we wanted to have our own team that was family oriented. We started our own team built with all of our own family members and a few very close friends. We would not be able to have started the Harris Racing Team without the support from all our sponsors.
