The Annual ORV Fun Fest takes place this year on Saturday, August 20th, and offers 70+ miles of riding as well as good food and prizes. Last year, 150 machines and over 300 participants took part in this annual jaunt through the area which ends with a mud course at the county fairgrounds.
This fest is held in conjunction with the statewide free ORV weekend, where ORV licenses and trail permit fees are waived. Riders will see wild game, birds, and all the natural beauty Gladwin County is known for as they travel county roads and the ORV trails in our incredible state land. There will be entertaining stops and games hosted by local businesses for participants to earn prizes; and the fairground mud pit is sure to provide lots of fun to those competing to win the event. Following the ride, prizes will be given and attendees can enjoy a meal provided by Smokin’ Bob-B-Que.
Riders have come from across Michigan and as far away as Canada and Texas to enjoy the festivities. Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. at the Gladwin County Fairgrounds. Registration for participants begins at 8 a.m. The ride officially starts at 10 a.m. with a parade through Gladwin before hitting the trails.
