While we are still in the midst of enjoying the summer days of August soaking up the warmth, sunshine and beach time, our Chamber Office is looking towards a very busy fall season!!
As we begin to plan our fall color tour destinations and decide what fall festivals we want to attend…without a doubt The Breezeway Communities of East Jordan, Ellsworth and Atwood are where you want to experience fall! From the finest farm market experiences, festivals, cultural offerings, scenic overlooks, dining choices, wine tasting, great shopping in locally owned businesses, your color tour trip will be complete and memorable.
East Jordan’s Annual Fall Fest scheduled for Saturday, September 24th at the East Jordan Tourist Park offers a full schedule of events for the entire family to enjoy. Sponsored by the East Jordan Parks and Rec Department the schedule includes softball tournament, corn hole tournament, hayrides, beer tent, music, food trucks and much more!
The Paddle Antrim Festival will once again be held on the Chain of Lakes Water Trail. The two day paddle always the second weekend after Labor Day, includes a two-day paddle event. It is a “choose” your own adventure paddle allowing you the opportunity to paddle one or both days and decide how far to travel. There are exits strategically placed along the route so you choose whether to paddle 7 miles or all 42 miles!
The extremely popular Breezeway Fall Color Cruises are scheduled for the last Saturday in September (24th and October 1st and October 8th. Pick up your “goodie bags” at Royal Farms in Atwood between 10:00 AM and Noon. Travel the “Breezeway” at your own pace exploring the region, hike a nature preserve, visit a farm market, gallery, shop…you choose the experience! Many spectacular fall photo opportunities!
Looking forward to seeing you, your family and friends this fall on The Breezeway!
