East Jordan: Looking Forward to Snow!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of S-N-O-W in the Breezeway communities of East Jordan, Ellsworth and Atwood! Snowmobilers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers are ready to hit the trails and experience all that our area offers during the winter. The spectacular winter raft trips down the wild and scenic Jordan River are now underway and are a great way to enjoy the beauty of this pristine river in the winter.

A special thank you and great appreciation to the many volunteers that groom the trails of the Jordan Valley Snowmobile Trail and other trails throughout our state. Special shout out to the volunteers who have worked tirelessly this past week to clear off the downed trees on our trails after last week’s windstorm. Without the dedication and hard work of these individuals, we would not be able to enjoy the great riding and make the memories with our friends and family.

The 40th Annual Sno-Blast Winter Festival Committee continues to work on the schedule of events for the family-friendly festival that will be held February 18 through February 20th in East Jordan. The majority of the weekend’s events take place at the East Jordan Sno-Mobilers Clubhouse on Mount Bliss Road. Be sure to check our Chamber website for a complete list of events by mid-January (www.ejchamber.org)

The City of East Jordan is a snowmobile friendly town and welcomes snowmobilers to visit our community to dine, fuel up, stay and shop at our many locally owned businesses. Our region prides itself on friendly customer service. For any and all information on East Jordan, Ellsworth and Atwood, please contact the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce at 231-536-7351 or info@ejchamber.org, like and follow us on Facebook.
